Amaya interned in the Software Division at SBI GITC, the Global IT Centre that serves as the central technology headquarters of the State Bank of India and the engine room behind the bank's online banking, digital infrastructure, and the enterprise systems that keep one of the largest banking networks in the country running every day.
His work centred on AI and ML driven enterprise technology. The focus areas were automation, intelligent systems, and the banking operations that become faster and more dependable when slow, repetitive processes are handled by software rather than by hand.
Working inside an organisation of that scale meant building for reliability, security, and millions of people at once. It was a close look at how serious financial technology is designed, tested, and trusted before it reaches the people who depend on it.
